Serve Teams

At New Covenant Fellowship our Serve Teams are the heartbeat of our ministry. We rely on these teams to keep Sunday mornings flowing smoothly and efficiently. Please consider joining one of these great teams!
ATF Youth Team: NCF believes that teenagers and students are not only the church of the future but are the Church today! We have named our Youth Ministry Against the Flow, taken from Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world but be Transformed by the Renewing of your mind”. To simply “go along” with the crowd is the “easy” path. ATF Youth Ministry meets every Wednesday from 6:00PM-7:45PM and the 4th Sunday of every month during both services.
Baptism Team: This team is responsible for set up and clean up for our Baptisms by providing towels, filling the baptistry, etc. Baptisms typically occur on the 1st Sunday of each month.
Be the Message Team: This is an in-house ministry group that serves our community through local benevolence projects. Annually, NCF hosts a “Be the Message Sunday”. On this day we gather as one church body and participate in service projects across Moore County. Project Examples: Building beds for local children w/ Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Ramp building for handicapped elderly, clean yards, remove trees, Repair decks, bring meals to hospital & emergency services workers, Buy & pump gas at local stations.
Beautification Team: This team is responsible for adding/maintaining a variety of flowers and plants on campus.
Cooking Ministry Team (Soul Provision): Soul Provision is a part of the Hospitality Ministry of NCF. We seek to provide culinary support to the pastoral staff, the congregation as a whole, and our broader community. We plan, prepare, and serve meals for the main purpose of practicing hospitality and serving others in His love. Serving with Soul Provision offers a chance to discover purpose and leadership development. You will be encouraged to apply your life experiences, skills, and the Holy Spirit-given spiritual gifts and talents. We regularly prepare meals for, Get Connected Luncheon, Elder/Deacon Meeting Meals, Fight Night Meals, partnering with other NCF ministries and small groups, as well as Fellowship Christian Academy. There are several ways to serve within Soul Provision: specific prayer for events, leadership, and attendees, set-up, tear down, clean-up, dishes, planning meals, grocery pick-up, preparation, and cooking meals. Practice hospitality. Feed people. Nourish Souls.
Covenant Kids: Here at NCF we want our children to Belong, Believe, and Become. To belong, believe, and become is a process of discipleship. If you have raised children, been a child, know a child, or just love children then you are likely qualified to help in this ministry! This serving schedule is every Sunday at 8:45am and 10:30am services.
Feed the Need Team: This team provides meals for several days as an act of love and support when there has been a death, birth or other major event for one of our church families.
FIT Team (First Impression Team): This team is the first to greet our visitors. They provide smiling faces to welcome everyone on Sunday mornings. The team works on a monthly rotating schedule.
Get Connected Team: This team prepares food and sets up for the Get Connected Luncheon hosted by NCF every other month. This lunch provides guests with an opportunity to meet the church leadership, learn the history & vision of NCF and discover ways to get plugged in. The serving schedule would be once every other month on a Sunday morning.
Lords Supper Team: This team prepares the elements and serves the Lord’s Supper during several Sundays services throughout the year.
Love Feast Team: This team is responsible for set up and cleanup of the meals and
decorations. Love Feast typically happens once a quarter.
Mowing Team: If you enjoy the great outdoors and serving your church this is the team for you. The mowing team works on a rotating schedule, depending on how many people are signed up to help. You would be responsible for mowing and trimming all the grass on campus on a Friday or Saturday each week during the growing season. Typically operates March - October.
Office Volunteers: This team assists with things like preparing materials and supplies for our Sunday mornings, prepping for events, and supporting the different ministries. If you love to work behind the scenes and/or have administrative skills, then this team is just right for you.
Prayer & Alter Team: There are many ways that you may find to serve our church family in prayer. You may wish to serve in one or all of the following: 1) We meet at 8am on Sunday mornings to pray for the service, the sanctuary, and Children’s Ministry areas. 2) You may like to serve others in prayer at the altar after service. 3) When prayer requests come in, you would receive an email to pray. These are all vitally important ministries for NCF.
Safety Team: This team’s role is to ensure the wellness and security of our campus during all events.
Special Events Team: Special Events are planned throughout the year; these events may include Kickball games, Movie Nights, Outreach events and much more. If we schedule a special event, we will email you the details and ask you to help with prep, setup, and cleanup of these events.
Tech Team: Our worship services could not happen without the support of our technical team. This team helps run the sound board, projector screens and live stream during services each Sunday. Even if you are not technically inclined, we can train you to help with any of these areas.
