Care Groups
The heart behind these groups is to offer a caring, compassionate place for all God’s children to feel welcome and loved in their current situations.
Band of Mothers: This is an open group of single moms who meet to share life with other single moms, loving and supporting one another and their children. This group meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00PM on the NCF campus.
Card Ministry: Leader and coordinator, Barbara Jennings. This ministry sends out tangible evidence in the form of a card to those who need encouragement for situations that life has brought them, to let them know they are loved and prayed for. Cards are also sent out for celebrations of blessings such as weddings, graduations, and new births.
Caring Folks: If you are caring for an elderly parent, relative, or someone who is in need of your help in their daily life, this is a group for you to find mutual encouragement with other caretakers in similar situations. This group meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:30PM on the NCF campus.
Forget Me Not: Psalm 71:9 Ministry:
Mission: To love on and encourage the elderly to know that God and His Church will not forsake them when they are at their most vulnerable and their wisdom most valuable.
Vision: To love, encourage, and demonstrate the worth and value of the elderly in our community by spending time listening to them, interacting with them, and sharing the Word of God with them.

In His Hands: The purpose of this group is to provide mutual support, information, and encouragement for those who have dealt with or are currently dealing with cancer. This group meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 6:00PM on the NCF campus.
Never Alone: Never Alone is a grief support group for those who have experienced loss of a loved one to find the tools to grieve effectively and find mutual encouragement. We also share a light lunch together. This group meets on the first Monday of each month at 12:00PM on the NCF campus.
Serving Angels: This group will meet on Thursday mornings in the sanctuary from 9:00AM-11:00PM. There will be a time of scripture study and a time to pray over each seat as we divide up to refill the seat backs to prepare for Sunday services.
Hope at Home: This ministry exists because HOPE extends beyond the walls of the church. With many homebound individuals in our community, we seek to bring that HOPE and a little sunshine into homes across Moore County when individuals can’t make it to the church building. Volunteers from Hope at Home visit, pray, and fellowship with those they are ministering to in their homes. They may also bring goodies, a meal, or small gift for the individual. Do you know of someone who is homebound permanently or temporarily due to mobility, recent surgery, mental health, or age who could use a visit? T-2: At NCF we offer a mentoring program we call T-2 for women of all ages. In the book of Titus (2:1-5) we are given the template for how to care for and encourage spiritual growth in one another. We are told that those who have walked with the LORD through the many different seasons of life are called to guide and mentor those who may be facing challenges in their Christian walk and relationship with the LORD. The older women are specifically told to come along beside the younger women to support, encourage and counsel them, as they face the challenges and valleys in their lives. No matter your age, if you could use a spiritual mom or a friend to walk confidentially through some things with you, please reach out to T-2 for more information.
