Kids, Kids, Kids!

Hi Church Family!
Covenant Kids has officially been rolling for the month of February and we are off to a FANTASTIC start!
The small details like computer check in systems, organizing volunteers and whole group lesson technologies are working well, but more importantly we are seeing kids engaged in a way that we haven’t seen in some time.
Our kids are excited about memorizing Scripture, bringing and using their Bibles, and participating in offering.  Covenant Kids and the new curriculum seem to be engaging, starting thoughtful conversations and helping our children to GROW.
I find myself fully immersed in children’s church every week and with that said, I am already starting to see a change in YOUR kids, and that alone is worth the effort and work that has gone into our change to Covenant Kids on Sundays. I am excited to see how the Lord continues to meet us in this new endeavor.
During the month of February, we have averaged between 70-80 Covenant Kids every single week.  This is exciting and encouraging, as we are able to share the Gospel with many willing hearts each week.  Logistically, even with opening an additional class this month, we are busting at the seams.
Our hope and desire is to split our Sprouts class (preschool) into two different groups on Sunday morning.  Right now they have approximately 16-20 little ones each week, which for anyone who has spent more than 5 minutes with a preschooler, knows that this can be a handful!
In order to make this change feasible, we want to challenge the church family to prayerfully consider joining Covenant Kids as a volunteer.  I’m fully believing that the Lord will provide the 8 volunteers who are willing to serve on a rotation for only one Sunday a month to make this need a reality.
Could you and your spouse join our team?
Would you be willing to serve with an older teenage son or daughter?
Maybe someone from your Life Group?
Has the Lord been urging you to connect with your Church Family?
Covenant Kids is unique, flexible and rewarding.  Don’t allow your nerves or fear get in the way of joining the team.  We will train you and support you as you learn the ropes.
